Who we are
Spring Incubator Limited ("we") is the data controller for personal data collected on springincubator.co.uk. Contact: brad@springincubator.co.uk.
What we collect, and why
- Pre-launch lists (Landlord Dashboard, Bills Optimizer) and newsletter: your email address, with the list you joined and the date. Used only to email you about that product or the newsletter you subscribed to — nothing else. Lawful basis: your consent, given when you sign up. You can withdraw it any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing us.
- Contact form: your name, email address and message. Used to read and reply to your message. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
- Anti-spam: our forms include a hidden field and a timing check to filter automated submissions (legitimate interest). No tracking cookies are set by this site.
Where it's stored and who processes it
- Netlify hosts the site and runs the form functions.
- Supabase stores the pre-launch and newsletter email lists.
- Resend delivers contact-form messages to us by email.
- Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces (your IP address reaches Google when fonts load).
- If the newsletter later moves to a dedicated email platform, subscribers will be told and the same consent scope will apply. Some processors store data outside the UK; where they do, transfers rely on recognised safeguards (such as the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).
How long we keep it
List emails: until you unsubscribe, the product launches and the list is migrated or closed, or two years of inactivity — whichever comes first. Contact messages: up to two years, then deleted unless the conversation is ongoing.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion, or restriction, and you can object to processing or withdraw consent at any time: brad@springincubator.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Archival images
The site shows small archival screenshots, via the Internet Archive, of websites our founder built and later sold — purely to illustrate founding history. If you hold rights in one and would like it removed, email us and we'll take it down promptly.
